BUILD AN AIR ROCKET LAUNCHER!

Hands-on, experiential learning opportunities are a great way to engage all learners...and an air rocket launcher is a great way for students to develop ADST skills and learn science concepts at the same time!

Join ADST specialist Scott Smith at Grandview Heights Secondary as he walks us through the process of building an air rocket launcher. We will have all the materials ready for you on February 23, and your principal will need to approve the transfer of funds to cover the cost of supplies. When the workshop is over, you will be able to bring your launcher back to your school and use it whenever you like!

Only 1 teacher from each school needs to register for the session, but multiple teachers from the same school may attend and build the launcher together.

Space is limited; only 15 schools will be able to take part in this opportunity, so sign up before all the spaces are gone.

We will meet in the Woodshop (Room 150) to watch the keynote together before we start building. Participants will need to bring a lunch and water bottle.
